Dretha Burris joined the staff of FUMC-Rowlett on July 1, 2008 as the Minister to Children and Families after retiring from the public school system. She received a Bachelor's Degree from Texas Tech, a Master's in Counseling from Texas A&M-Commerce, is a Licensed Professional Counselor, and in May 2008, she became a Licensed Local Pastor in the United Methodist
Church. Dretha and her daughter, Andrea, born in 1991, joined the FUMC-Rowlett in May 2005. Dretha is very excited about serving the children and their families at the church, and in the community. . |
