All ladies of the church are welcome to help.
On Thursday, we'll be doing manicures (you can also
go from 9:00 - 10:30 am.) If you're unable
to go with us but would like to contribute polish;
polish remover or cotton balls, you can place items
on the UMW table in the Narthex this Sunday.

STITCH N STUFF PARTY
Join us July 28, at 10:00 a.m. at the home
of Denise Barker, 3401 Willowcreek Drive , Sunnyvale
. Lunch will be provided. We'll stitch and stuff
pillows for the "Pass the Pillow Project” (pillows
for Breast-Cancer patients). All women of
the church are invited to participate. You
don't have to sew; you can simply come help stuff
the pillows. If you desire to make pillows
in advance of the July get-together, directions
will be available at the UMW table in the Narthex.

Family Fun Wednesdays starting
June 17th
Join us for some wild, wacky, waves of fun this
summer at FUMC!
Who? Families-a special time to play together (children
must be accompanied by an adult)

FOOD PANTRY FOCUS - Dried goods, flour,
sugar, masa, pasta, rice, and beans will be very helpful.
Please bring your donations to the Missions Corner in
the Narthex
Looking for New or Used Bibles - The
Wilkerson Center has a need for new or used Bibles in
English or Spanish. If you have extra that you would
like to donate please place them on the shelves in the
missions corner by the Narthex.
Support Groups
Help Wanted - This job transition
support group meets at 7:00pm the first and third Tuesdays
of each month. Equipping you with the information
you need to help you understand next steps after loosing
your job and to get you started on your job search.
The jobs are out there, you just have to apply within.

GriefShare - Join us if you are needing
biblically-based and caring assistance on your grief journey!

Cancer Support - The Cancer Support Group
meets the 4th Thursday at 7:00pm in Room 174. It
is for anyone in any stage of cancer treatment and any
member of their family, spouse, parent, sibling or anyone
that is their support system. The group is facilitated
by Mary Howry, who is a cancer survivor and a registered

NAMI - (National Alliance on Mental Illness)
family support group meets every 4th Saturday of the month
in room 140. The support group will offer emotional support
for family members and provide educational information
about mental illness. The time is 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

Prayer Ministry
Sunday Afternoon Prayer - Fall is
coming. School is starting and can the holidays be so
close? So much is happening. Stopping to pray gives
us focus and direction. Please join us at the Sunday
Afternoon Prayer Time every Sunday at 12:30p in the
prayer room. Are you interested in starting a prayer

Tuesday Morning Prayer - We meet every
Tuesday morning from 9:30--10:30 am to pray for the
needs of our church. We pray over the prayer cards &
prayer lists that are turned in each week, in addition
to any other needs we become aware of. If you feel led
to lift up our church and its people in prayer, we encourage
you to join us on Tuesday mornings! For information

Lagniappe for Christ
Ministry
We meet every Friday morning to "give a little
extra" to the church by performing fix-it projects.
If you have time and an interest join us @ 9am on the
Fridays you are available. For more info call the church
office, 972-475-3667. This ministry is open to men and
women.
Did you know the
church has a Christian Book Club?
Forever reading and reading with forever in
mind! We meet once a month for brunch on Saturdays.
We alternate reading high quality Christian fiction
and nonfiction. The group keeps a reading list going
several months in advance, with each member recommending
a book, then facilitating the discussion for the book
that month. It's always a great time of fellowship and
learning, so feel free to join us! For information contact
