Confirmation

Confirmation is the process in which United Methodists indoctrinate their youth and help lead them to making their own decisions about becoming members of the church, being baptized, or reaffirming their baptism. This process is usually done during a youth's sixth grade year culminating with Confirmation Sunday in May, but can be done at an older age as well. For the purposes of FUMC Rowlett, sixth graders are not considered a part of the youth group.
