Vacation Bible School Heroes Found!

This year's theme "Hero Quest" had us looking for the extraordinary in the ordinary and boy did we find it! With over 400 children and over 100 volunteers our church was packed with heroes! And as you may guess there is really no way to thank everyone properly but I will attempt to do so now. Thank you so much to all those who prayed for the success of VBS! Thanks and many kudos to the (over 70) people who volunteered each night as a crew leader! It amazes me how many people are willing to give of themselves in this way for children as they shepherd them around the church on their quests. Thank you to the station leaders who gave many hours before and during VBS planning, organizing and implementing their areas of fun such as crafts, snacks, games, music and drama. Thanks also to our media team for all the lyrics on screens, promotional videos, sound and lighting and many, many other details we could not have been successful without! And of course thanks to all the directors who make the week of VBS work so smoothly (not to mention the many hours of planning they do too!). I have heard many children and parents tell of how much fun they had at VBS thanks to all of you heroes!
