Get the Final Details, turn in all outstanding paperwork, and Pay your final balance. REMEMBER: If you have not worked your 3 hours of service, you will not receive a cut of the group fundraising. ALL YOUR OUTSTANDING BALANCE IS DUE THIS DAY! NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
Fundraising Opportunities
Remember, if you are to be eligable for receiving a piece of the group fundraising effort, you need to put in at least 3 hours of time toward helping prepare for the trip. Here's your last chances to get in on your share:
1. STOCK TABLE! Man the Stock Table from 9:30- 12:30. We need youth for every Sunday from now until we go!
2. BIG STAR BURGER NIGHT! Tuesday February 28th, ALL DAY!! We get 15% of sales for the day, so encourage all your family and friends to eat at Big Star! The more people we get, the more money we make!
3. i Pad DRAWING!! Sell drawing tickets for a chance at a top-of-the-line iPad 2! The more tickets you sell, the more hours you can earn! See Ross for details.
4. WORKDAY! We're having a prep day, and there are a few limited spots for some youth to help out.
5. YOURSELF!!! Remember, this is THE BEST way to make money. Write letter to family and friends! Grandparents LOVE to support the grandchildren! :-) AND, several people in the church need odd jobs around the house done. They are willing to pay, and of course the money goes directly to you! Origins
This Spring, Methodist Students Ministries will have a special focus to guide and connect us through our Life, Learn, Love, and Worship groups. ORIGINS will explore the beginnings and basics of Christian Spirituality. We’ll be looking in depth at basic concepts, such as the Eucharist, Baptism, Scripture, the Holy Spirit, the Lord’s Prayer, and many other essential elements of our faith. Our Special Events will also follow this theme. The goal is to bring the mystery, practicality, and enchantment of our common past together with our present day lives and the fresh ways that are available to practice and express our faith.
