Ross was born and raised in Lufkin, Texas and graduated from Lufkin High School. He then attended Texas A&M University in College Station where he received a B.A. in History and Spanish. He later earned a Masters of Divinity from Perkins School of Theology at SMU. He has previously served as Youth Minister here at First Rowlett, and has since served at the Methodist Children's Home in Waco, The New Day emerging, Methodist, new-monastic project in Hurst, and has just recently returned from traveling and working around the world. He loves to be outdoors, biking, hiking and traveling, and soccer is his favorite sport. His passions include movies, cooking, and embracing the randomness of life. And coffee......he loves coffee.....
