Rev. Chris Everson, Associate Pastor
Chris was appointed as the
Associate Pastor in charge of a new church start at First Rowlett United
Methodist Church in June 2011. Chris is excited to be the pastor planting the
new United Methodist Church in southeast Wylie.
Chris has been in ministry with youth and young adults at different churches in the North Texas area for over ten years. Before he answered his call to ministry, Chris taught music in the public schools in Wichita, KS for 4 years.
Chris’s passion is to help those who feel disconnected from Christ and the church find hope, healing and wholeness through the love and grace of Jesus Christ. He is looking forward to being involved in the city of Wylie and extending God’s love to those in the community.
In Chris’s free time, he loves to read, mountain bike, golf and play his guitar. Chris is married to the love of his life Tracy. They have three children Deborah (20), Timothy (17), and Jacob (16).
