Steve spends nearly all his time playing, writing and teaching music. He has enjoyed teaching band in public schools for 20 years and performing with commercial bands for 28 years. Out of all the reasons to do music, playing in church is by far the most rewarding. Music is a form of worship that trumps all kinds of barriers and he feels blessed to be a part of the great music at FUMC. When he is not doing music, he is a soccer, softball, gymnastics, baseball and band dad to Kevin, Andrew and Katelynn. He also enjoys sharing the exciting world of fourth grade teaching experiences with his wife, Stacy.
